The Algal Innovation Centre (AIC) in Cambridge is a secure GM grade research glasshouse on a sealed foundation with a gross floor area of 164m². Professor Alison Smith, from the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge, is shown officially opening the centre yesterday.
